Bruce Ratner

Mr. Ratner is the Executive Chairman of Forest City Ratner Cos., a New York-based real estate development company, which he started in 1985. As the founder of one of the largest urban real estate developers in the country, Mr. Ratner has developed 52 ground-up projects in the New York City area over more than 30 years. His MetroTech Center, an 11-building corporate campus occupied by more than 20,000 workers, has often been credited with helping to spur the renaissance of Downtown Brooklyn. Mr. Ratner serves on the boards of Weill Cornell Medical College, Memorial Sloan- Kettering Cancer Center, and the Museum of Jewish Heritage–A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, where he is Chairman. A graduate of Harvard College and Columbia Law School, Mr. Ratner holds honorary degrees from Brooklyn College, Medgar Evers College, Pratt Institute, and Long Island University.
