Solange Peters, MD, PhD, was elected President for 2020-2021 of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO). Professor Peters is Head of the Medical Oncology Service, Chair of Thoracic Oncology, Oncology Department, Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois, Lausanne, Switzerland.
