David H. Johnson received the 2016 ASCO Distinguished Achievement Award, which is given annually and recognizes leadership or mentorship by a scientist, practitioner, or researcher who has benefited patients with cancer or those who treat them. Dr. Johnson is Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine at The University of Texas (UT) Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, US.
